About Me

Hi.

I'm Sarah. At present, a late twenty-something single person with no fixed abode, no fixed income and no fixed nationality. Well that's not true. I'm fully British and I have a passport that says so. It's just that currently (and for the past 4 years living here) I've felt more like an American.

You catch me at an interesting time. I'm currently writing from a little studio in Los Angeles, but soon, too soon, I will be returning to the UK. I have no idea which way life is going to turn and how much I'm going to need to turn it.

So you are invited to the journey that is my life. I don't promise to tell you the whole truth (some things should stay between a person and their maker). But I do promise to tell you nothing but the truth; at least the truth as it appears to me in any given moment.

Mostly I want to be real and honest. I think connecting to someone's experience when they are honest, is highly impactful. Because, when someone is really honest we discover more about ourselves and our own experience through theirs.

I am a little scared, to be honest ;) I used to keep all my cards close to my chest and when I finally learned to be open, it was used against me. I have been misjudged by my own transparency. I understand that in telling you things I am handing them over to you, to do with what you will. But, it would be nice if you took each post in the context of the whole blog and remember that one confusing-emotional-PMS-style-day does not constitute an unstable person, just an unstable moment. Likewise euphoric appreciation of life, also comes with mundane, challenging and costly elements, so don't get too jealous.

As you can tell by now, I can write looooooooooong posts so congratulations to those who have the patience to follow them, I really hope it is rewarding to you my friend.
